Juniors (13-18 yrs) must complete a registration form - there are waiting lists for some age categories, new intake happens each summer.
Adults must also complete a registration form - new intake for beginners happens each Autumn.
What happens next
Depending on the nature of your enquiry you will either be invited to visit the club (if you have previous rowing experience) or will be added to the ‘learn to row’ waiting list and contacted as soon as a relevant course is scheduled. (Click here to see when the next coastal (16+) course is running)
Rowing it is a sport with safety and equipment considerations which limit the number of members we can safely manage. Some areas of our club are in high demand; hence our junior section, our 40+ and social rowing sections sometimes have waiting lists.
All our coaches volunteer their time and expertise freely, therefore we expect all our members to show due consideration and commitment to the sport. Our fees are kept low as we encourage you to become more involved with the club, volunteering time and skills to help maintain the sense of community and to help all members achieve the most they possibly can within the sport.
