SUNDAY 8th March

The Head of the Stour is traditionally held in February. It is a processional time-trial style race from the Mudeford Sandspit to Christchurch Sailing Club; a distance of approximately 2 miles. It is usually attended by in excess of 100 crews, all competing to set the fastest time over the course in a variety of boat types.
