CRC Junior Learn 2 Row 2026
We currently have 2 courses available, plus two starting after Easter
We host one of the largest Junior rowing squads in the area and pride ourselves on the opportunities we offer. The majority of our juniors learn to scull in small boats with the aim to race in river boats. Once proficient, there is the opportunity to progress to larger boats and eventually sweep oar. Some of our older juniors will start in the sweep boats with the aim to row on the coast.
2026 Course Dates
We are pleased to announce the dates of this years junior Sweep Oar Learn to Row courses
Course 1: for Boys on Saturdays
This course is aimed at students currently in years 10, 11 &12.
The participants will be learning sweep oar with the view to compete in crews potentially on the coast.
The course will consist of four 1hour 45minute sessions run over the Saturday of 4 consecutive weekends.
Days / Times: Saturday at 10.15 - Midday
Course Cost: £75
Start Date: Saturday 14th March
End Date: Sunday 4th April

Courses 2: for Girls on Sundays
This course is aimed at students currently in years 10, 11 & 12.
