Nine recreational club members from Christchurch rowing club (CRC) spent a glorious weekend over 12-13 June sculling 32 miles in touring quads on the Norfolk Broads – eight women and Peter XXX (the excellent plus one). World Cup III in Sabaudia in Italy on 4th to 6th June
Former Christchurch Rowing Club junior sculler Matthew Aldridge was selected as part of the GB Rowing team to race at World Cup III in Sabaudia in Italy on 4th to 6th June. GB Rowing sent a Young "Project Paris" squad and for most of the rowers it was their first senior race. Matthew was rowing in the GBR1 coxless four, along with three other members of Oxford Brookes University Boat Club where he now rows.
