Saturday 15th December
CRC Christmas Party
CRC Christmas Party is open to all members and their families and friends. Ticket are £8 per person which includes a buffet meal catered by Wayne and club music.The evening will start around 7pm.
Tickets can be purchased by Friday 7th December for food numbers.
Tickets can be purchased HERE, or by putting cash or cheque in an envelope throught he main post box marked for the attention of Jenny Gould.

Sunday 11th September
Club Photo
This is a day for all our club members to come together, we will be taking our annual club photo at midday. The bar will be open to so bring family and friends down. For the photo please wear club kit or a white shirt with black trousers / skirt.

Boat Naming Ceremony
We are very fortunate to have received a large donation from the Christchurch Constrictive Club which has enabled us to purchase a boat for your use. The benefactors are coming to the club this Sunday to officially name the boat David Fox in memory of him. They will want to talk to you about your rowing experience, it is such a generous donation which has been made to you, please give them your time to show your appreciate and gratitude.

Friday 9th September
Let's Celebrate
You are invited to celebrate the last year of rowing at Christchurch Rowing club from 7pm. There is a hog roast (and veggie option) and awrds will be presented forllowed by a disco. Tickets cost £15 Adult, £10 Student and can be purchased from Rowena Gaston or Helen Brad who are at the club most weekend mornings. Taster Session
We are running a 2hour taster sessions for the 15 year old boys on our waiting list. If you are able to spare some time between 10.30 - 12.30 you help would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Jenny Gould - enquiries@christchurchrowingclub.co.uk

Sunday 10th April
Abingdon Spring Head
Course: 2000m upstream on the River Thames, Rye Farm Meadow, Abingdon.
Organised by Abingdon RC under British Rowing Rules and raced over 4 divisions, entry fee £10.00 a seat (coxes are free). Local rules may apply.
Entries open via British Rowing 3rd March 2016, and will close 10pm Friday 1st April or when we reach capacity, whichever is the sooner. CANCELLED.

Southampton Head of River Race
This race for coastal fours takes place on the river Itchen for 4150m from Riverside Park. For more details please click here.

Beer / Wine & Curry
Tickets are now on Sale HERE - we are limited to only 40 people for the tasting, but can have as many people as we like for just food. The superb Kashmir Indian Restaurant are catering the event, with a choice of either Lamb Rogan and Chicken Tikka Masala. We have an expert coming in to lead you through a flight of 4 different beers or 3 different wines, (these are small measures, but each will be stocked behind the bar for the evening if you wish to indulge in any of them further).

Saturday 26th March
Easter Charity Bake Sale
Henley rowing Club are challenging the rowing community to help them raise £50000 for the charity 'Village Water' to help pilot a water program for clean drinking water villages in Mozambique. Help us help them.
Members we ask you to get your bake on again and bring your master pieces to the club Friday evening or Saturday morning.
We will also be hosting a ergo competition, for the fastes 500m.

Vesta Veterans' International Eights Head
The 2016 edition of the race will take place over the traditional Mortlake to Putney course, the day after the men's head at 2pm.

Saturday 19th March
HORR
The Head of the River Race is rowed annually in March from Mortlake to Putney on the Tideway in London. Over 400 crews of eights take part. making it one of th highest participation events in London.

Presentation drinks in the lounge. 3 of our aspiring young athletes have been awarded a grant from the very generous Gill Lanning from the John Thornton Trust. Please join us in thanking Gill for supporting our members and our sport.

Important Meeting
We have some important information to share with you regards Club Captain Nominations, Water safety – circulation patterns – adverse weather and the planning for our Head of Stour.
We require members to sign off on the safety information that will be presented before water sessions can be resumed. If you are unable to make this meeting you will need to book a time with Jenny Gould to go over this information before your next water session.
7.30am session will finish at 8.45 with the 9 am session commencing at 9.30.

CRC Quiz & Curry Night
One of our members Clare Wedderburn has very kindly offered to be chef for the evening and put on a spread of curries. Whilst Emma Kelly, our Ladies Captain will be quiz master.
Come a long, bring your crew, friends and family. It will cost £6 per person, this includes quiz entry and food. The quiz will start from 7.30pm.
